What you will do:
• Operationalize Digital Marketing Strategy – Execute the credit union’s digital marketing strategy to drive demand generation, membership acquisition, product awareness, and lifecycle engagement through paid, owned, and earned digital channels. Ensure marketing programs align with enterprise growth objectives while partnering with Digital Banking and Technology teams.
• Lead Lifecycle Marketing Campaign Execution – Design, build, and optimize marketing-driven lifecycle campaigns across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, cross-sell, retention, and reactivation stages using marketing automation and CRM platforms.
• Own Marketing Automation Strategy and Execution – Manage the marketing automation platform, including segmentation, campaign workflows, lead scoring models, trigger- based communications, personalization rules, and data hygiene in support of marketing objectives.
• Manage Lead Generation and Nurture Programs – Develop and optimize marketing-led lead capture, scoring, nurturing, and conversion campaigns that support lending, business solutions, and deposit growth initiatives, in coordination with business line leaders.
• Manage Public Website as a Marketing Channel – Own website content strategy, CMS administration, and vendor coordination to ensure the public-facing website operates as an effective marketing and conversion channel. Partner with Digital Banking and Technology for technical integrations while retaining marketing ownership of content, messaging, and campaign landing experiences.
• Optimize Digital Marketing Conversion Performance – Improve performance of marketing landing pages, digital campaign entry points, calls-to-action, and marketing funnels to increase application starts, inquiries, and qualified leads. Does not own application systems or digital banking functionality.
• Lead SEO and Paid Media Optimization – Analyze and enhance organic search performance and paid digital media campaigns to improve qualified traffic, cost efficiency, and measurable return on marketing investment.
• Manage Integrated Digital Campaign Execution – Plan, deploy, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across email, web, paid media, social, and other channels to ensure timely execution and alignment with product, segment, and enterprise priorities.
• Lead Marketing Analytics and Performance Reporting – Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and performance reporting using data from marketing automation, website analytics, MCIF, social platforms, and internal reporting systems to evaluate campaign effectiveness and marketing contribution to growth.
• Provide Data-Driven Marketing Insights – Translate marketing performance data into actionable recommendations to optimize channel strategy, improve campaign efficiency, and inform budget allocation decisions.
• Establish Marketing Test-and-Learn Frameworks – Implement structured experimentation including A/B testing, pilot campaigns, subject line testing, landing page variations, and segmentation trials to improve marketing effectiveness and conversion outcomes.
• Monitor Marketing and Consumer Trends – Track digital marketing trends, channel performance shifts, competitive marketing activity, and evolving consumer behaviors to inform strategy and recommend innovation within the marketing function.
• Enhance Marketing Personalization and Segmentation – Use behavioral data, member insights, and performance analytics to refine targeting, personalization, and relevance of marketing communications across digital channels.
• Partner with Business Lines to Support Production Goals – Collaborate with Strategy, Lending, Business Solutions, Member Experience, and Finance to align marketing campaigns with production targets, growth priorities, and experience standards while maintaining clear marketing ownership of execution.
• Execute Emergency and Time-Sensitive Marketing Communications – Coordinate digital distribution of emergency, service interruption, and closing communications across marketing channels in partnership with Operations and Communications stakeholders.
• Ensure Marketing Compliance and Governance – Work in partnership with Compliance and Risk to ensure marketing content, campaigns, automation workflows, and digital communications adhere to applicable regulatory standards and brand governance guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
• 3+ years of digital marketing experience working with CRM, marketing automation, website development, and/or MCIF
• Experience with acquisition, loyalty, and retention marketing programs
• Proficiency in CRM and/or marketing automation platforms, and content development
• Experience with marketing analytics platforms
• Strong experience in digital marketing, lead generation, and content management
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload, often requiring short turnarounds
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Ability to problem solve, multi-task and manage numerous projects concurrently
• Expert conflict management, time management, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proven ability to synthesize and interpret data and customer insights into successful marketing strategies
• Proficiency in web-based technology, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Expertise in omni-channel marketing, creative and content development and management
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of banking, financial institution products, and services
• Knowledge of rules and regulations related to financial institution marketing
• Knowledge of HTML
Preference will be given to those who have:
• Master’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
• 5+ years of digital marketing experience working with CRM, marketing automation, website development, and/or MCIF
• Experience with CRM, MCIF systems and familiarity with Agile or project management framework
